I am so glad we decided to come for a visit. Our stay exceeded my every expectation. The bungalow was very comfortable, the staff were exceptionally hospitable, the food fabulous and the setting can't be beat. My stay at Blue Canoe was the highlight of my trip to Tanzania. Blessings to Lailat, Thomas and Simon for opening this piece of heaven to us.

I was just going to stay for 1 - 3 days but it turned out to stay 6 nights! I became a big fan of Blue Canoe! Comfortable Rooms, delicious cuisine, wonderful view, peaceful atmosphere and very helpful nice stuff. I travelled and stayed in a lot of lodges and hotels but this place is definitely my No 1 in Tanzania. Thanks for everything!

Who knew we would find such a beautiful piece of paradise from a Lonely Planet listing! From the stunning view of the lake meeting the mountains to the delicious breakfasts to the friendly stuff, we have really enjoyed our stay. We came just for a "boarder hop" from Malawi and ended up over-relaxing. You guys are creating something awesome and innovative here and we look forward to coming back again and again. Incredible beach and view - and we have been on quite a few beaches on this lake - yours is up in the top.
